Marty lives in Balmain and works in North Sydney during the week. When he is not in the workshop he can usually be found at the local pub with family & friends

How Made By Marty Started
It all started out of Marty’s love of being in his workshop and keeping busy. During the pandemic Marty had more time to spend devloping his skills and experimenting with different materials he found.

Recycling & Reclaiming
Marty sources timber locally in Australia, usually from the Bryon Bay Region in NSW. Many of his crafted pieces also come from recycled and reclaimed timber.
Cheeseboards
Hand craft cheeseboards, created using a variety of timber. Unique pieces that are combined with coloured resin that brings out the natural colours and features of the timber.
Custom Furniture
Using recycled and reclaimed timber to create custom made furniture.
Marty has made coffee tables, stools, high tables and benches. He always looking for the next piece to design and create.
